Business Challenge
The client’s existing Application Performance Management (APM) solution was not satisfactory. The APM metrics were not configured properly in the existing solution. Also, the MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) was high. The client was looking to replace its existing APM solution with AppDynamics for a wide variety of business applications.
Approach
Designed and implemented highly available and scalable AppDynamics platform that meets complex application performance monitoring requirements
Instrumented wide variety of applications (Java, .Net, C++, Node JS, etc) for end-to-end performance monitoring including Database, MQ, BRUM (Browser real user monitoring) and synthetic monitoring
Implemented AppDynamics Biz-IQ (Advanced analytics) component to provide ITOps and business metrics (revenue per minute, quote vs conversion rate, etc.) to executives and support team
Integrated AppDynamics with IBM Netcool for auto ticketing and automation
